Welcome Home to Hockley TX, our home community in Waller County. The Waller area encompasses the Waller Independent School District and covers over 320 square miles.
Most visitors don’t know, but the area includes the communities of Waller, Hockley, Fields Store, Rosehill, and Pine Island. The city is located about 45 miles west of Houston just down US Hwy 290. About half of the town is in Harris County and the other in Waller County. Out here small-town charm is still alive in both the area and its people.

What happens to the community gate if the power goes out?
There is a device that will automatically open the gates upon a power failure. It will reset once power is restored.
If there were an emergency, would Fire/Ambulance/Police know how to find me?
Yes! Your address was created by 911-GIS for Montgomery County. All agencies know exactly how to get to you!
Are covered porches allowed?
Yes! They must have a composition roof with a seamless install from the home with coordinating colors.
Why does my neighbor have 3 parking spaces and I do not?
Some lots have 3 spaces, some have 2.
Do I get a concrete walkway from the parking area to my porch?
No! We do not pour concrete paths, but you can have this done with management approval. There is also an option for XL (24”x24”) pavers at $20 each (installation included).*
Are sheds allowed?
Yes! The style & color must be comparable to home with a composition roof. Please see Rules & Regulations. You must also obtain a permit from Montgomery County.
